Tone And Tighten Your Arms

Have you tried dieting, exercise, and other techniques to try and tighten your arms, but with no results? If so, then an arm lift, also known as a brachioplasty, may be the procedure for you. This procedure reshapes the skin and tissue of the upper arm to get rid of excess or floppy skin. A brachioplasty or arm lift can help restore your confidence in sleeveless blouses and sundresses.

What Is An Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)?

Brachioplasty is a surgical body contouring procedure where excess skin and other tissue are removed from the upper arms. The remaining skin is tightened to give you the slender, toned appearance you desire.

Many men and women turn to arm lifts after attempting to achieve positive results with dieting and exercise. Although these techniques can remove fat and build muscle in the upper arms, they often do not result in the kind of results they desire.

An arm lift does what no non-surgical procedure can accomplish: remove excess skin from the upper arm. In some cases, liposuction might be a good option if you need to remove stubborn fat deposits. An arm lift may also be combined with numerous other body contouring procedures to give you the final look you desire.

Am I A Good Candidate For An Arm Lift?

You may be a good candidate for a brachioplasty:

  • If you have loose, sagging arm skin.
  • If you are bothered by flabby arms.
  • If you do not smoke or have serious health issues.
  • If you’ve lost a significant amount of weight and would like to tone your arms.

What Results Will I See?*

Patients who receive a brachioplasty often see:

  • Slimmer, more attractive arms.
  • Less loose skin in the arm area.
  • A more toned appearance.

What Is The Recovery Process Like?*

The day following an arm lift, you can expect to be sore. While your arms will be swollen and bruised, Dr. Gonyon will prescribe pain medication to help you feel better. Within one week, you’ll have to return to our office so that your drains can be removed.

At that point, you’ll need to wear a compression garment for a month or so to alleviate any swelling and discomfort. Unless your job requires you to vigorously use your arms, you can likely return to work about 10 days after your surgery.
