How Much Does Botox Cost?

Botox is one of the most popular cosmetic treatments that exist. Men and women of all ages choose it to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. If you have dynamic wrinkles that appear every time you make a facial expression, Botox can help you find the fountain of youth. Since Botox treatments are necessary every few months to maintain a rejuvenated face, many patients wonder how much they cost. Keep reading to find out.

What is Botox?

Botox puts a temporary halt on nerve activity. This stops the injected muscle from contracting and causing wrinkles. It’s been approved by the FDA since 2002 and can help you achieve a youthful complexion without surgery or downtime.

So what happens during a Botox treatment? One of our expert providers will inject the formula into your problem areas. Then, they’ll apply a bit of arnica and pressure to minimize the risk of bruising and swelling. You’ll be ready to return to work and your daily responsibilities immediately.

Since Botox is a quick treatment, you can stop in during your lunch break and be back at work after 20 to 30 minutes.

Botox Pricing

Fortunately, Botox is an affordable cosmetic treatment, especially when compared to alternative surgical options. It’s priced per unit and each unit costs between $10 to $15. Your treatment area will dictate the cost of your Botox but you’ll likely pay  anywhere from $150 to $500. During a consultation in our office, we can design a customized Botox treatment plan and give you an accurate price.

Good Candidates for Botox

Botox may be a good option if you’re in reasonably good health, over 18 years of age, and bothered by dynamic wrinkles. If excessive sweating, TMJ pain, or headaches are also concerns, Botox can provide you with the relief you deserve. Additionally, Botox may be a good option if you’re a younger individual who hopes to slow the onset of fine lines and wrinkles. We do not recommend this treatment if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a neuromuscular condition.
