Recovering From Breast Augmentation
After breast augmentation surgery, you can expect to feel a bit sore and tired for a few days. You’ll likely be able to return to your daily routine in a few days as long as you refrain from vigorous physical activity.
If you work a desk job, you can expect to return to work about a week after the surgery. A few days after the procedure, Dr. Gonyon will remove the steri strips. You’ll likely be asked to wear a surgical bra to prevent the breasts from moving and allow them to recover optimally.
Good Candidates for Breast Augmentation
There are a number of women that may benefit from breast augmentation surgery. If you wish to alter your breast size or shape, resolve breast asymmetry, or reconstruct your breasts after mastectomy, you may benefit from this procedure. Dr. Gonyon recommends this procedure to women who are bothered by their small breasts and those who hope to add volume in their breasts. A private consultation with Dr. Gonyon is a good way for you to determine if you’re a good fit for this procedure.
