Last month, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons released their annual statistics report, which sheds light on industry changes from year to year. As it turns out, there was growth in the cosmetic surgery industry in 2014, with 3 percent more cosmetic procedures performed than in the previous year. Reconstructive procedures also increased, by 1 percent from 2013.

And those were just the surgical procedures. Minimally invasive procedures experienced significant growth and a 4 percent rise from the previous year. The Top 5 minimally invasive procedures were:

- Chemical Peels
- Laser Hair Removal
